Bring In The Green Medium Dish | Emma Bridgewater

Serving Dishes, Platters & Bowls. You can never have too many serving dishes, plates and bowls. Each of our ceramic platters and serveware are beautifully hand painted with unique designs and colours ...you'll want them all! Salads, pastas, cheese; furnish your dinner table with decorative serving pieces for all occasions by Emma Bridgewater. Bringing in greenery at Christmas isn’t just to decorate the house but to follow the ancient custom of leaving bad luck and unwanted spirits at the front door – even taking down decorations on Twelfth Night is shrouded in superstition. Choose holly to protect where you live, ivy for lasting affection and mistletoe for peace (and lots of kissing). Our Bring In The Green Medium Dish is also decorated with plenty of Christmas greenery. Use this medium-sized serving dish to serve vegetables with your roast on Christmas Day or as a salad bowl for when you need healthy options. This shallow serving dish even makes a gorgeously decorative Christmas centrepiece: enhance the gold of the pattern’s musical instruments by adding walnuts and fir cones spray-painted in gilt to the dish, then weave in tiny fairy lights. If you prefer to take down your decorations before January 6, be sure to order your hand-decorated bowl now to enjoy maximum usage before then!
