The unit pairs quickly with heaters and includes battery backup to retain time, schedules and settings through power interruptions, with automatic BST/GMT adjustment. An optional open-window detection suspends heating when a rapid temperature drop is detected and restarts when normal conditions return, with detection time and threshold configurable in the setup menu. Other features include a 15-minute Boost for rapid comfort, five operating modes (Automatic, Manual, Comfort, Setback, Fan only), an electronic child lock, selectable °C/°F display, and the option to limit minimum and maximum temperatures.
