Start your collection today. You know Christmas has started properly when it’s time to visit your local Christmas tree farm or market stall and choose a tree. You plan to be sensible, yet it’s hard to resist walking among the fir trees wondering if the one you like is reasonably symmetrical and if an extra foot in height will really make much difference – other than to the price. Decision made, and it’s time to head home for another December ritual; tea in a Christmas Joy Large Mug and a slice of Yule log while waiting for the tree to be delivered. (It doesn’t matter if you need to wait a while as this large mug can accommodate a very large cup of tea.) You may well spot that the hand-sponged Christmas trees on our traditionally crafted Christmas mug are more or less symmetrical – and more or less the same height. The beauty of an Emma Bridgewater mug lies in its folksy appearance and lovable slight imperfections – just like any real Christmas tree.
