Beautifully constructed from thick 28mm Nordic Spruce interlocking logs, this solid and hardwearing cabin boasts an authentic chalet style build with chamfered log ends, supported by wind braces and treated foundation joists. The floor and roof are 19mm tongue and groove cladding, well-known for its strength, durability and weather resistant qualities, providing a long-lasting and reliable cabin. The front elevation of the log cabin has an apex roof with a stylish scalloped barge board detail and a glazed single entrance door, complete with a cylinder lock for added security. For increased strength and improved resistance to adverse reactions to extreme temperatures, such as warping or cracking, the door frames are laminated in construction. A low door sill features a stainless steel cover to protect wood from damage in this high wear area. This leads you into the internal space which would be ideal as a quiet garden retreat or home office - the choice is yours. If you like this design, but would really prefer something a little bigger, we also have a 11x9 option with glazed double doors. The cabin is supplied untreated with a five year guarantee. We advise that you apply an initial anti-fungal treatment to the log cabin, once built, and do so annually thereafter to support the guarantee. Alternatively, paint could be applied for a more individual style. Please be advised that the roof does not include a cover as standard.
