Thompson & Morgan Blueberry (Vaccinium) Earliblue 9cm Potted Plant x 1

Blueberry 'Earliblue' is the perfect addition to any garden or patio, offering not only deliciously sweet and juicy blueberries but also ornamental beauty throughout the seasons. This early maturing variety produces large, light blue berries that are exceptionally sweet in flavour. Clusters of these berries adorn the bush from early July, providing ample harvests for home cooking. When planted alongside late fruiting varieties, 'Earliblue' extends the blueberry season, ensuring a continuous supply of fresh fruit well into the summer. Beyond its fruiting prowess, 'Earliblue' enhances garden aesthetics with its abundance of sweetly scented creamy-white flowers in spring. As autumn approaches, the foliage transforms into a striking fiery crimson, adding a splash of colour to acidic borders or large patio containers filled with ericaceous compost. Easy to grow, these blueberries begin fruiting just one year after planting, making them an excellent choice for both novice and experienced gardeners alike. How to Grow Instructions Light: Plant in a sunny to semi-shaded location. Temperature: Hardy but protect from late spring frosts. Watering: Keep soil consistently moist, especially during fruit development. Feeding: Use ericaceous compost and feed with a balanced fertilizer. Pollination: Plant with another blueberry variety for optimal fruit set. Images shown are for guidance only and show the expected results of plants upon maturity.
