Juniperus horizontalis ‘Pancake’, also known as Creeping Juniper, is compact, low-growing and low maintenance - growing to a miniature 15cm in height, it’s ideal for a small garden or for tucking into a rockery planting scheme or patio container. Aromatic evergreen foliage provides a consistent year-round display and acts as an effective ground cover which develops an attractive bronze hue during the winter months. Plant Junipers in a sunny or lightly shaded position, in any well drained soil; juniper trees tolerate dry, chalky or sandy soils. Incorporate plenty of well rotted manure or garden compost to improve the soil prior to planting, mixing it thoroughly and deeply. Water Juniper plants regularly throughout the growing season until fully established. Juniper does not require any pruning. Caution: irritant to skin and eyes.
