Thompson & Morgan Papaver Red Rumble 9cm Potted Plant x 1

Papaver orientale 'Red Rumble' is a striking perennial that brings drama and colour to any garden. In May, the plant produces large, scarlet blooms that resemble crumpled silk. Each flower, reaching up to 15cm across, is adorned with dark blotches and a dark central boss, creating a breathtaking contrast. Standing tall on strong stems, the blooms are set against a backdrop of finely divided, bristly foliage, offering a bushier, more robust appearance compared to many other poppy varieties. A perfect addition to borders, cottage gardens, or anywhere you want to make a statement with vibrant blooms. This poppy offers a fantastic show of colour and is relatively easy to grow in the right conditions. To encourage a second flush of blooms, simply cut back the plant after its first flowering. Plant in a sunny spot with rich, fertile, well-drained soil, and your garden will be treated to a burst of dramatic colour every spring. This hardy perennial is ideal for gardeners seeking a bold and low-maintenance plant that brings a burst of colour to their landscapes year after year. How to Grow Instructions: Light : Plant in full sun for best flowering results.Temperature : Thrives in moderate to warm temperatures.Watering : Water regularly but ensure the soil drains well to prevent waterlogging.Feeding : Add well-rotted manure or compost to soil before planting; feed occasionally during growing season.Humidity : Prefers dry to moderately moist conditions; avoid overly wet soil.Images shown are for guidance only and show the expected results of plants upon maturity.
