Thompson & Morgan Thompson & Morgan Camellia Changii 1001 Summer Nights Jasmine 3 Litre Potted Plant X 1

Camellia '1001 Summer Nights' Jasmine is a stunning evergreen shrub and a true breeding breakthrough, shortlisted for the RHS Chelsea Flower Show Plant of the Year 2021. Unlike most camellias that bloom in spring, this unique variety flowers continuously throughout summer, producing elegant ruffled rosette blooms that add exotic charm to your garden. Its compact habit makes it perfect for patio containers or garden borders. Thrives in sun or part shade with a height and spread of 250cm (98”). How to Grow: Camellias prefer moist, well-drained, acidic soil in a sheltered, shaded location. In alkaline areas, grow in containers using ericaceous compost mixed with John Innes No. 3, placing them in dappled shade. Water regularly until established, preferably with rainwater to maintain soil acidity. Feed occasionally with fertiliser for acid-loving plants. Protect from cold winter winds and harsh early morning sun to prevent bud drop. More Info: Apply an autumn mulch to shield roots from winter cold. Minimal pruning is needed—lightly trim to maintain shape and remove faded flowers promptly after blooming to encourage further flowering.
