Thompson & Morgan Thompson & Morgan Fern Polystichium Setiferum Herrenhausen 9Cm Potted Plant X 2

Polystichum setiferum ‘Herrenhausen’ is a stunning evergreen fern that adds elegant, fine-textured foliage to woodland gardens, shaded borders, and container displays. Its lacy fronds unfurl gracefully into neat rosettes, creating a soft, horizontal groundcover that enhances any planting scheme. Hardy and adaptable, this fern thrives where many others struggle, tolerating drier soils under shrubs and trees while maintaining year-round greenery. Perfect for spring-themed borders, ‘Herrenhausen’ harmonises beautifully with hostas, pulmonarias, and foxgloves. The fern’s evergreen fronds conceal fading spring bulbs and provide continuous visual interest, while old fronds can be pruned back easily to make way for new growth. Its low-maintenance nature and reliable hardiness make it an ideal choice for gardeners seeking both beauty and practicality in shaded areas.
