Viburnum tinus 'Spirit' is a highly rewarding evergreen shrub offering interest across multiple seasons. From late autumn right through to spring, rounded clusters of pink buds open into lightly scented white flowers, providing valuable colour during the dullest months of the year. As the floral display fades, metallic blue-black berries form, contrasting beautifully against the dark green foliage. This dense, bushy shrub adds reliable structure, scent and seasonal impact to borders, mixed planting schemes or containers. Ideal for low-maintenance gardens, Viburnum tinus ‘Spirit’ thrives in full sun or partial shade and tolerates most well-drained soils. Its evergreen habit ensures year-round coverage, making it a popular choice for informal hedging or background planting. Requiring minimal pruning and resilient to most conditions when established, it’s an excellent addition to any garden looking for long-lasting interest and structure.
