Thompson & Morgan Thompson And Morgan Allium Yellow Fantasy 12 Bulbs Inc:, Yellow

Allium ‘Yellow Fantasy’ is a compact ornamental allium that produces clusters of nodding, bell-shaped yellow-green flowers above neat clumps of fine, linear foliage. Its small size makes it ideal for planting along the front of borders, weaving through gravel gardens or growing in patio troughs and containers. Flowering earlier than Allium flavum, this variety provides an attractive display in late spring and early summer. The nectar-rich yellow flowers are particularly attractive to bees and other pollinating insects, making it a useful addition to wildlife-friendly gardens. How to Grow Plant Allium ‘Yellow Fantasy’ bulbs in well-drained soil in full sun. Plant bulbs at a depth of approximately three times their own height, with the pointed end facing upwards. Cover with soil and water well after planting. Water during prolonged dry periods, particularly while the plants are establishing, but avoid waterlogged soil. After flowering, allow the foliage to die back naturally before removing it. Height: 30-40cm (12-16in). Spread: 15-20cm (6-8in).
