Camassia leichtlinii 'Alba' produces upright spikes of star-shaped, creamy-white flowers in late spring. This elegant perennial is well suited to damp borders and meadow-style planting, where the tall flower spikes rise above attractive strappy, silvery-grey foliage. A North American native that is still relatively unusual in UK gardens, Camassia 'Alba' makes an excellent focal point and works particularly well when planted among colourful Alliums or against darker foliage to create a strong contrast. How to Grow Plant Camassia bulbs approximately 15cm (6in) deep in fertile, reliably moist soil in full sun or semi shade. Improve poor soil before planting by incorporating plenty of well-rotted manure or garden compost. Keep the soil moist during the growing season, particularly during dry periods. Avoid areas where the soil becomes waterlogged during winter, as excessively wet conditions can cause the bulbs to rot. Height: 130cm (51"). Spread: 10cm (4"). Features: Elegant bulbous perennial Spires of starry white flowers in spring Ideal for damp borders and flower meadows Specifications: Dimensions: H:16 x W:4 x D:22 cm Weight: 0.2 kg Colour: White Guarantee: 30 Days Model Number: KJ2279
