Supplied as 15 x Bulbs (Size 06/07) Growing Iris Katharine Hodgkin: Planting: In late autumn, plant Iris reticulata bulbs, burying them at a depth about twice their own height. Choose a sunny spot with well-draining, moist soil to ensure optimal growth. Container Option: Alternatively, plant bulbs in deep containers filled with loam-based compost like John Innes No. 2. Grow them in a greenhouse or cool, sunny windowsills for early indoor blooms. Maintenance: Allow dwarf iris foliage to die back naturally. This feeds the bulb for the coming spring. Divide overcrowded clumps in autumn. Keep potted iris reticulata slightly moist during dormancy, increasing watering as growth resumes.
