Growing Iris Dwarf Reticulata: Planting: In late autumn, plant Iris reticulata bulbs at a depth about twice their height. Opt for full sun and well-draining, moist soil for ideal growth. Container Option: Alternatively, plant bulbs in deep containers filled with loam-based compost like John Innes No. 2. Cultivate them in a greenhouse or cool, sunny window sills for an early indoor display. Maintenance: Allow dwarf iris foliage to naturally wither before removing, nourishing the bulb for the coming spring. Divide overcrowded clumps in autumn. Keep potted iris reticulata slightly moist during dormancy, gradually increasing watering as growth resumes.
