Escallonia laevis 'Pink Elle' is a compact, evergreen shrub with glossy green foliage and showy clusters of soft pink, tubular flowers borne on the tips of the stems from early summer. The blooms are notably larger than many other Escallonia cultivars, making this variety a standout choice for adding long-lasting colour and structure to borders. Its dense, rounded habit makes it ideal as a low-growing hedge or stand-alone specimen. Thanks to its salt-tolerant nature, 'Pink Elle' is particularly well suited to coastal gardens, and once established, it requires very little maintenance. Grow in well-drained, fertile soil in full sun, with protection from cold, drying winds. Prune lightly after flowering to maintain shape and encourage new growth. Height and spread: 100cm (39""). Images shown are for guidance only and show the expected results of plants upon maturity. Different growing conditions might vary results. Image may be included for illustration of supply but can vary due to seasonality changes (e.g. deciduous plants lose leaves in colder months). Decorative pots are not supplied.
