Zinsser Gardz is a water-based high performance sealer for all porous surfaces. It penetrates deep in to the surface, sealing back and binding down porous, crumbling and chalky finishes, leaving a hard water-resistant finish, ready for redecoration. It has good alkali resistant properties, which means it can be applied to high pH surfaces. It is suitable for sealing damaged drywall, new drywall, spackling and joint compound, skim coats, plaster, calcimine, uncoated wallpaper, wallcoverings adhesive residue and textured paint finishes. Application is by brush, roller or spray with coverage up to 10sq/m per litre. Touch dry in 30 minutes and recoatable in 3 hours.
