A floating or cantilever parasol suspends the canopy from a side pole rather than a central post. This keeps the ground area underneath completely unobstructed, allowing you to easily arrange patio furniture, outdoor dining tables, or sun loungers. Is the canopy fabric waterproof? Yes, the canopy is constructed from a heavy-duty 250g/m² waterproof polyester fabric designed to withstand typical rain showers and provide effective shade. How does the wind flap help in breezy weather? The integrated wind flap allows gusts of air to vent out through the top of the canopy, lowering wind pressure on the frame and helping maintain stability during breezy conditions.
