Use preventatively at 5 m² per litre or curatively at 3.3 m² per litre depending on the condition of the timber. Soluguard Woodworm & Rot Treatment is a dual-purpose solution for the treatment and prevention of woodworm, dry rot and wet rot in timber. Its microemulsion technology penetrates deep into the surface to target all life stages of wood-boring beetles and forms a key component of any rot control strategy. Once applied, the product stabilises rapidly and provides lasting protection, even on damp or hard-to-access timbers.The solvent-free, water-based Soluguard treatment is easy to apply with a brush or coarse spray. Its versatility makes it suitable for timber exposed to a range of indoor and outdoor conditions, with clear guidance for application to situations including use class 1 (interior), use class 2 (covered exterior), and use class 3 (above-ground exposed exterior with suitable overcoat).Once touch dry, re-entry to treated areas can take place after approximately one hour, though drying time may increase under humid or cold conditions. The product is suitable for overcoating after 24 hours.
