Soluguard Woodworm & Rot Treatment is a dual-purpose solution for the treatment and prevention of woodworm, dry rot and wet rot in timber. Its microemulsion technology penetrates deep into the surface to target all life stages of wood-boring beetles and forms a key component of any rot control strategy. Once applied, the product stabilises rapidly and provides lasting protection, even on damp or hard-to-access timbers.This solvent-free, water-based treatment is easy to apply with the included Safeguard Sprayer. Use it preventatively at 5 m² per litre or curatively at 3.3 m² per litre depending on the condition of the timber. Its versatility makes it suitable for timber exposed to a range of indoor and outdoor conditions, with clear guidance for application to situations including use class 1 (interior), use class 2 (covered exterior), and use class 3 (above-ground exposed exterior with suitable overcoat).Once touch dry, re-entry to treated areas can take place after approximately one hour, though drying time may increase under humid or cold conditions. The product is suitable for overcoating after 24 hours. The pump-up sprayer also has many other uses around the home and garden (e.g. spraying water, pesticides, herbicides, insecticides etc.) The product to be sprayed is simply poured into the sprayer. The lid is then replaced and tightened before the sprayer is pressurised by pumping the handle. Once the sprayer is pressurised, the product can be sprayed by simply depressing the trigger on the spray lance. Spray width can be adjusted by turning the spray nozzle.
