Thompson & Morgan Thompson And Morgan Daffodil Chuckles 32 Bulbs Inc:, Yellow

Narcissus 'Chuckles' is a vigorous RHS Award of Garden Merit daffodil that produces around seven flower stems from each bulb, with multiple cheerful yellow blooms on every stem. The gently scented flowers create a bright spring display and provide plenty of blooms for cutting. This reliable variety is ideal for planting in borders, beds and spring containers. Its strong garden performance makes it a great choice for creating colourful groups or naturalising in grass, where it can return year after year. How to Grow Plant Narcissus 'Chuckles' bulbs in any moist, well-drained soil in full sun or semi shade. Plant the bulbs at a depth of approximately 10cm (4") and space them around 10cm (4") apart. For the best display, plant in groups or drifts through borders and informal areas of grass. For a natural-looking display, scatter the bulbs across the planting area and plant them where they land. Daffodils can also be grown indoors in containers of bulb fibre. Place containers in a cool, dark and well-ventilated position at a maximum temperature of 10°C (50°F), watering sparingly to keep the compost moist. When shoots reach around 10cm (4") tall, move indoor containers to a cool, bright position at approximately 16°C (60°F). After flowering, allow the foliage to die back naturally before removing it in June or July. If naturalised in grass, avoid mowing until the foliage has completely died back. Height: 45cm (18").
