Thompson & Morgan Thompson And Morgan Iris Harmony 160 Bulbs Inc:, Blue

Indulge in the mesmerising beauty of Iris Dwarf Reticulata Harmony, where royal blue petals adorned with golden yellow streaks create a stunning visual symphony in late winter. This eye-catching combination is perfect for adorning the front of borders and rockeries, or for elevating your indoor spaces when planted in containers. With a height of 15cm (6"), these irises bring elegance to any setting. Growing Iris Dwarf Reticulata Harmony: Planting: Plant Iris reticulata bulbs in late autumn, burying them at a depth approximately twice their own height. Choose a sunny spot with moist, well-draining soil for optimal growth. Container Option: Alternatively, plant bulbs in deep containers with loam-based compost, such as John Innes No. 2. Grow them in a greenhouse or on cool, sunny windowsills for an early indoor display. Maintenance: Allow dwarf iris foliage to die back naturally. This nourishes the bulb for the following spring. Divide overcrowded clumps in autumn. Keep potted iris reticulata slightly moist during dormancy, increasing watering as growth begins. Caution: harmful if eaten.
